My Little Valentines

Last year I kept seeing the trend for making giant ‘ring pops’ for Valentines day gifts. I thought they were freaking adorable, so I had to hop right on that one. They were super easy to make, and they also didn’t break the bank so that’s always a plus! You can get most if not all of the supplies from the dollar store. To make one of these beauts, you need a foam or plastic ring(or a pool noodle even), two plastic bowls, and a paper plate or even cardboard. Other craft items you will want is paint and hot glue to assemble it all together.

Assembly is also fairly simple, you will paint the ring and plate to match the plastic bowls that you bought. Once those are dry and ready to put together you will glue the ring to the plate, and then one of the bowls to the other side of the plate. At this point you are 75% done with getting it all put together. I will say, I got foam rings and they were a bit of a pain to paint, so I suppose if you used a pool noodle you could skip the painting ordeal. Okay, once I had these steps done I put some filler into the bottom bowl (crinkle cut paper grass….stuff), and then put the goodies in. Once I was pleased with that I glued the other bowl on top to encapsulate all of the Valentines surprises. To put the finishing touches on them, I labelled little doily hearts for each of my kiddos ring pops and glued it on. I then finished with a valentines ribbon tied around the base of the ‘pop’.

I really think you can take this any way you like! There are a variety of colors and sizes of bowls you can pick from, and really you could use this for more than Valentines gifts. A bridal shower gift, a proposal, a cute princess party, who knows!

On that note, I now have to figure out what I want to do this year. I’m pondering taking their little goodies, whatever they may be (candy, stuffs, etc.) and wrapping them in a bouquet. Anywho, if you are searching from some inspiration to do something cute for your littles this Valentines then I recommend making these!
