This will be a quick rant, but I Just had to share one of my favorite Halloween decorations that I did. I had this slightly awkward wooden board from Hobby Lobby sitting in my closet that I just didn’t know what to do with it. After scrolling on Pinterest and Tik Tok I saw people who would take old paintings and paint cute, whimsical ghosts in them. Others would paint them from scratch, but they were all adorable and just fun. After seeing these I was inspired to paint our family as ghosts. Since there are six of us plus 2 dogs then the board I had provided plenty of space to fill it!
It was a bit tricky mapping out who would be where, and what other things I wanted to add to it. I kept it fairly simple with a couple of trees, and a large glowing moon. The details are minute but each one of us has a unique item that makes it easy to tell who is who. If you are looking for something fun and unique to do yourself, I say try this! And if you’re worried about painting skills well, ghosts fortunately aren’t too hard to paint 😉
