I think it’s safe to say that I’m not the only one with an Axolotl fan. My oldest loves anything with an Axolotl. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday this year he only had a few requests, and at the top of the list was ‘Axolotl Stuff’. There’s certainly no shortage of axolotl themed merchandise out there, as it is quite the trend right now. Here are some of the items we found for him.

My first and most favorite find
Not only had he requested axolotl stuff, but he also wanted a neon sign. I thought to myself, “How cute would a neon axolotl sign be!” I was scrolling through the limited options for an Axolotl neon sign when I came across the perfect one! It was the trifecta: a neon sign that was not only an axolotl, but a gaming axolotl. My son is also a huge gamer so it couldn’t have been better. I was hesitant because it didn’t have many reviews at the time, but I took the chance and ordered it.

I love this sign because it was a perfect size for his room and it has a dimmable switch. It was also a great price at $35 compared to other options. I’m super happy I took the risk with this one, 10/10 recommend.
Comfort, of course
There are SO many options for blankets, if you’re like me I get decision paralysis when there’s an abundance of options. I initially purchased a blanket off of Amazon and when it came it was thin and entirely too small for my 11 year old (who is as tall as I am). I returned that one and together we found another blanket that was much better. You can see the blanket by clicking here.
Why we loved this one. It was much bigger, I did make sure to select the 60×80 size. It’s also thick and super cozy soft. Besides the comfort, it shows different axolotls and is a really cute print. Although some of the reviews say it is thin, I would have to disagree. I think it’s a perfect blanket to cuddle up with on a family movie night.
I almost forgot the pillow cover! We found a super cute and soft pillow cover. It’s kid friendly because it zips closed, so it stays on the pillow. You can also find this cover here: Kids Plush Pillowcase
Alarm Clock
This last one I found on the Tik Tok shop. It’s a silicone axolotl alarm clock. With our oldest I thought it would time for him to start waking on his own in the morning. It’s soft and has an optional night light. You can set two alarms on it. It has worked great for us so far.
