Bookshelf for Small Spaces

I know I’m not the only one who has had a revival for the love of reading. It started with a couple small books, but then I kept seeing #booktok reference a series called A Court of Thorns and Roses. I knew nothing about this series other than it involved faeries, so I went in blind. My husband bought me the whole series for Christmas of 2024 and the rest is history.

Flash Forward

It’s been over a year and I have consumed that series and I am almost finished with the Crescent City series. I have also encouraged my children to read more. Obviously this means we have accumulated quite a few books, with nowhere to put them. Last Christmas he then gifted me with the cutest bookshelf for my office, and it works wonderfully for small spaces.

I stated before that we have a modest home, so my office is in the smallest bedroom, and is also home to our craft room, filing room for documents, and just random storage. The bookshelf that he found is round and tall. It has five shelves for books, and you can even use the top one to put decorations on. There is also is on a turntable, so it can spin! It fits in the corner next to the closet perfectly.

Functionality and Aesthetic

Not only has it solved our book storage problems (for now 😉 ), but it is also a sleek decorative piece that harmonizes in the office well. It has metallic gold bars paired with the wooden shelves and it looks great against the dark teal walls!

As you can see the top couple shelves may look Pinterest worthy with my volumes of books. The bottom ones, however, have become home to my kids books, Leap Frogs, craft projects, and even boxes of bath bombs. I think, though, that’s just a testament to this shelf and what it can hold.
