Skincare for Dry Skin

I’m really no professional when it comes to skincare, however over the years I have found a couple products that work for me. Growing up I didn’t have any skin routine. Through the years I’ve tried products that usually dried my face out ( such as ProActive, or the classic Apricot Scrub). They may have worked on other people, but I’ve noticed that my skin really just doesn’t take to anything too fancy. If you’re like this, then here’s a couple of products that I use for skincare for dry skin.

In My College Days

When I was going to college in Colorado I was perusing through the mall one day. I was stopped by one of those kiosks promoting Dead Sea Minerals. The employee working showed me this gentle exfoliator gel. She used it on part of my hand to demonstrate how it removes dead skin build up and leaves skin feeling soft. I only bought it the one time. Fast forward 10 years and I desperately needed to find this skincare for dry skin again, so I scoured Amazon and I was able to find it! I can tell you I genuinely love this facial peeler. Like I said my main problem is dry skin, and this really does just remove the dead skin. The best part is it is gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling raw. If you need that link again you can find it here: Vivo Per Lei Facial Peeling Gel

Other Gentle Skin Care I Use

The Dead Sea minerals gel that I use is helpful, but should only be used a couple of times a week. I wanted a daily cleanser that helped moisturize my skin. When I was at Ulta one day an employee turned me onto a product/brand called Cosrx. She showed me their daily gel cleanser. This is a beautifully light cleanser that hydrates. It doesn’t leave my face feeling tight like other face washes have. You can find this at Ulta, or you can find it on Amazon here: COSRX Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser

Everyone’s skin is so different, but if you have simple skin that doesn’t need a 14 step regiment, then perhaps these cleansers will work for you. For me they remove dead skin and hydrate perfectly.
